When we celebrate the Inner Feminine it begins to show on the outside too. Get the inner relationship flowing and the outer will come. Plus the feminine is so much about what goes on inside than just about the outwardly show. Beauty is so much more than skin deep!
My journey has taken me to and brought me back many times to the eight celebrations of the year which sit within the Celtic traditions of these isles. These are:
- Imbolc – first stirrings of spring
- Spring Equinox
- Beltane – the shift from spring to summer at the beginning of May
- Summer Solstice
- Lammas – first harvest at the start of August
- Autumn Equinox
- Samhuin – or Hallow’een end of October
- Winter Solstice
Each one has their own gesture, meanings, rhythm, goddess. Through this each one teaches us about ourselves, our energies and our needs at any given time of the year. They encourage us to explore our full expression and our most inner crevices. Always guided by gesture of a goddess architype.
Furthermore connection with the Moon cycles can guide us when it is good to begin things, power through to conclude them and to rest.
To begin your journey into these rhythms have a look at my book “Stop Chasing Time Choose Quality Time” – go to the shop page.
Most of all celebrating, meditating or just taking some time at these points in the year to reflect on their gesture and energy can do much to help one align with the inner wisdom of the feminine rhythms.
There is more too about celebrating the blood flow for those who do have a monthly bleed. This is explored in the Red Tent Work.
